Thoughtful and Fun Quarantine Gift Ideas!

Give

After so many questions about gifts to send to loved ones and friends during social distancing, I’m excited to share our newest gift guide: a Quarantine Gift Guide! Whether you’re looking for something fun to send to grandchildren, friends far away, teachers or a thoughtful gift to provide comfort to an elderly family member, we’ve rounded up great gift ideas to spark a little bit of joy during social distancing. We’ve picked out gifts for all ages and every price point. See the guide here

In addition to the Quarantine Gift Guide with things like painting and calligraphy sets, puzzles, outdoor toys and things to make birthday fun, we also have an under $30 gift guide with some great ideas, a Teacher Gift Guide and a gift guide devoted just to elderly loved ones. A cozy blanket, digital picture frame, a meal or a flowering plant would be especially thoughtful to send to elderly grandparents and great-grandparents. A few more ideas here:

And don’t forget that a simple way to spread joy right now is with a card. We partnered with Joy Creative Shop to share a free printable card for y’all! Print it out on card stock and let your children decorate the cards. Drop it off in neighbor’s mailboxes or send in the mail! Call local nursing homes to see if they are accepting cards. Download here.

Also, I wanted to remind you all that today is North Texas Giving Tuesday Now! On May 5th the community will safely unite from home to raise funds for the broad range of North Texas nonprofits affected by the pandemic; first responders and nonprofits on the front lines protecting, feeding, educating, and nurturing those most impacted by COVID-19.
