How to Create an Elegant Easter Table

Entertaining

I’m a believer in using the “good stuff.” The wedding gifts that some people keep stored away for decades I think should be used and enjoyed whenever possible. Today we’re showing you how to create an Easter table using the fine china and silver pieces you may already have. Adding in a few modern elements makes for a wonderfully elegant and visually appealing space for your family all spring. You may want to start setting the table now!

One effortless way to uplevel your basic table decor is to add a set of patterned placemats to the traditional white tablecloth and silverware look. These Fenwick Fields placemats caught my eye immediately and were the perfect element to tie together both old and new.

Pair in a few hand-painted bunnies to make this table feel like Easter and remove them after the holiday to enjoy this table all spring!

One more layering idea: if you have cabbage plates – or are lucky enough to have some Dodie Thayer for Tory Burch lettuce plates – you can layer that in for a happy, spring look!

Tip: you can find discounted cabbage plates and other china on Replacements, Ltd.

No matter the occasion I love welcoming guests with a festive drink table that both adults and children will enjoy. Fig & Dove’s silver dove bowls are on our gift guide because they are so versatile.
