For many families, summer means summer camp! Whether your child is going to sleep away camp for a week or a month, receiving care packages is a special part of the experience. Today I am sharing inexpensive care packages for boys and girls and goodie bags for the whole cabin.
Each family is different when it comes to care packages, but mail time can sometimes be hard for campers that don’t receive as much mail. In an effort to make sure everyone is included, I put together these small goodie bags for under $5 each.
I hit the party favor aisle at target and found a set of stickers and a pack of lip balm. I was able to split both of these items up to make seven separate bags.
To make similar bags for a boy’s cabin, I would include this pack of cards and these mini foam launchers.
I packed these in these simple favor bags with crinkle paper to make a cute presentation.

You can find great things like glow sticks, water balloons, hair accessories, and so much more in the dollar section! Sending the perfect care package does not mean breaking the break, but rather finding items they can have fun with at camp!
Boys love receiving care packages just as much as girls do. While some camps may limit food and candy in mail, feel free to send mini card games, gear for cabin raids, and anything that they can do with their cabin mates. My advice is to not send anything too high in value because it may not make it home.
Care packages for girls are all about cute things they can wear at camp, like these fun goggles and floral flip flops.
