Blue and White Dresses for Summer!

There’s not much that says ‘summer’ to me more than a great sundress! I love being able to throw one on and go about my day — and change an accessory or two to make it evening-ready. It gets so hot in Texas in the summertime, too, and some days I just can’t imagine wearing anything else. And as I’ve been looking for a few new pieces to refresh my summer wardrobe (especially since I didn’t do much of that last year!), I found myself gravitating toward dresses that were classic and feminine…and blue and white! Maybe it’s because we’ve been at the beach that I’m drawn toward this palette, but it’s one of my favorites and just so timeless.

I love this dress from Roller Rabbit! The shape and ruffle detail adds a feminine touch, and the cotton fabric is lightweight (AKA, perfect for warm weather). I see this being a summer staple of mine for years to come.

Would you believe me if I told you this dress is from Target!? Because it is! It’s classic and really well-made — and under $30. It’s so versatile – would be cute for work or lunch with friends! It comes in other colors, too (I love the light pink). And while they aren’t blue and white, I can’t skip telling you about two other favorite Target dresses I found this season. This eyelet dress and this yellow dress have been on repeat in my wardrobe since I picked them up a few weeks ago.

Another Roller Rabbit dress, and another favorite of mine! I don’t know if I can pick a favorite feature of this dress, because I honestly love everything about it. The puff sleeves (a big trend right now), the tiered skirt, the stripes. It’s pretty much perfection in a dress!

And last but not least, this Roller Rabbit style is the ultimate casual summertime dress. I also love it as a cover-up for the beach or pool or bike ride 🙂 Just throw on some cute sandals and you’ve got an easygoing, but put-together, look for day or night.
