A Recap of a Special Mother/Daughter Event with Long Cove!

Last weekend we partnered with Long Cove to host a Mother Daughter Afternoon at Kendra Scott. It was an afternoon filled with jewelry making, special mother daughter moments and meeting so many DoSayGive readers. Today I am sharing all of the details plus an event you are all invited to at the fabulous lakefront community of Long Cove on Cedar Creek Lake.

Long Cove has been a longtime DoSayGive sponsor (you may remember this post and our big giveaway last year!). So I was thrilled when they approached me about hosting a local event at Kendra Scott for my Dallas readers and their tween daughters. From the Sprinkles cupcakes to the darling photo booth, every last detail was thoughtful and beautiful for an an experience my twelve year old can’t stop talking about!

 

Long Cove treated every mother/daughter pair to a gift bag filled with lots of Long Cove goodies, two Kendra Scott gift cards as well as some surprises from some other longtime partners of DoSayGive. Thanks to JOY Creative Shop for providing the journal that’s on our Tween Gift Guide to every girl that attended as well as these cute enclosure cards for the moms.

And thank you to Well Bowed for giving everyone their best-selling acrylic water bottle with our DoSayGive bow logo and to Bahadu for giving all of our attendees a unique discount code for coming to the event! Long Cove also included homemade watermelon slime which was a big hit as well!

I loved meeting so many loyal DoSayGive readers and their daughters (who didn’t let the rain keep them away from our fun event!).

 

The Color Bar was definitely the highlight of the afternoon! Moms and daughters could choose the style of their necklace and from all the different stone colors to design their own necklace. It was so fun seeing what everyone picked out. The tween favorites were the Elisa Necklace (on our Tween Gift Guide!), the Elyse Ring, and the Elaina Bracelet. File away The Color Bar is a great place to host a party or have a fun afternoon with friends.
