All of a sudden it is so cold in Dallas and I can’t help but crave all the festive holiday coffee drinks. To help us all save a little money for all the holiday spending we need to do, I am sharing a recipe for white chocolate peppermint latte you can make right at home with the new Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Coffee Maker – which would make a perfect gift for a loved ones!

Yesterday we launched DoSayGive’s Holiday Gift Guide with a fabulous gourmet category. I included the new Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Coffee Maker because it is such a great coffee maker duo that has a traditional carafe and brews any K-cup brand. (And DoSayGive readers can use code 10FLEXBREW for 10% off here!)
I have been using a traditional Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Coffee Maker maker for years. Personally, I just like my morning coffee brewed out of a pot. But I like the idea of a K-Cup coffee maker for making single serve hot chocolate and tea or when my mom visits and wants to make a cup of decaf. So I jumped at the opportunity to give the new Hamilton Beach Flex Duo a try. And, yay, I can make a White Chocolate Peppermint Latte in just a few steps without brewing a whole pot of coffee. Here’s what you need:
Brew a cup of coffee via the single serve section of the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Coffee Maker. You can use a K-Cup or a use your own coffee grounds in the provided filter.
Peppermint Simple Syrup
A classic simple syrup can be used in so many ways during the holiday season and adds the perfect amount of sweet and flavor. Boil one cup of water, one cup of sugar, and one tablespoon of peppermint extract will be the sweetener to your latte.
Milk or Almond Milk
A latte is a coffee drink made with steamed milk. Almond, coconut, hemp or traditional cows milk will work perfect!
The best part of the White Chocolate Peppermint Latte is how festive it looks! Top your festive drink off with fresh whipped cream, white chocolate shavings, crushed peppermint, or chocolate covered peppermint stick.
White Chocolate Peppermint Latte
6 ounces Coffee, Strong Brewed
1 Tbsp Peppermint Simple Syrup (1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup peppermint extract)
1 ounce White Chocolate
1/2 Cup Milk (regular, almond, coconut, hemp)
Chocolate Dipped Peppermint Stick
- Brew coffee
- Heat milk, peppermint simple syrup and white chocolate until steaming
- Whisk milk to froth (or use a milk frother if you have one)
- Pour milk into coffee and stir to combine
- Garnish with fresh whipped cream, white chocolate shavings and crushed peppermint
- Serve and Enjoy!
This would be a great drink to make for a winter brunch or baby shower, tpp. Let me know if you make it!
