Lighthearted, interesting, and most of all fun — a book you can take with you on vacation, to the pool, or read in the afternoons. Fiction Books

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
This book is so unique and such a feel-good read! It's a fun choice if you prefer fiction to romance or thrillers, and is Shelby Van Pelt's debut novel!
Pineapple Street by Jenny Jackson
If you're a fan of the show Succession, this is the summer read for you! The writing is so good and it's fun to see how this author brings every character to life.
Maame by Jessica George
A coming of age story. If you've been in a book store recently, you've likely seen this one on the featured table!

Mystery & Thriller

Just the Nicest Couple by Mary Kubica
You will NOT expect the twists in this book! Mary Kubica's novel Local Woman Missing was a favorite last year, so her books are always a must read.
Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister
If you're a reader and feel like it has been a while since you have read something new and fresh, you MUST pick this up. It is incredibly unique and you will want to finish it in one sitting.
The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
If you're new to thrillers, this is the book for you! It will have you on the edge of your seat for sure. And when you're finished with this book, be sure to buy the sequel!

Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan
One of my favorite books from 2022. You will want to read it all in one sitting. She has a new book coming out June 6 called Same Time Next Summer, but I haven't read it so I'm not sure if I'm ready to recommend it quite yet, but I have already pre-ordered!
The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand
The QUEEN of the beach read! Another fave from 2022 as well. I have ready almost all of her books and I would recommend every single one! Patiently waiting for her next book, Five Star Weekend to come out on June 13!
Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams
Sarah Adams has nailed the art of the closed door romance novel! Her books are so fun, will make you swoon, and you can't beat that cover!
