The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open. We will be shared a HUGE roundup post of our picks in every category (men, women, children, home, beauty) here. But we wanted to give you a heads up on some of the items that have a HIGH sell out risk. So grab your coffee and see if any of these popular items are on your wishlist!

1. Barbour Coats

There are so many classic Barbour coats in the sale but they tend to go fast. Especially the waxed jackets for men and women (they last for years!). I have had my quilted navy Barbour ($166.90/$248) similar to the one above for three years now and it’s still going strong – it’s not super heavy but keeps me so warm. I know several of my readers are getting their husband’s a Barbour coat in the sale and saving for Christmas! They have great vests as well.

2. Hunter Boots

Hunter has packable boots in the sale this year in navy and gloss black. Meaning easier to travel with! If you or your daughter are needing some they are $99 ($150 after the sale.) They also have cutest Hunter boots for kids in the sale with a little buckle.

3. Barefoot Dreams

This Cozychic Circle Cardigan sold out in smaller sizes in a few days during Early Access last year. It’s seriously the softest thing you will ever put on – and makes an amazing gift! I like the Circle style because it just hangs better on me but there are several styles. This is the marine blue color but it’s really more like a gray. Speaking of Barefoot Dreams, there is already a run on these In the Wild Throw Blankets. If you like to plan ahead for Christmas, this is a great $100+ gift for family Christmas gifts, office gifts, etc.

4. Tory Burch Crossbody

Judging my the sheer number of comments I received about this on Stories yesterday, I know this Tory Burch Everly Crossbody ($165.90/$248) will sell out quickly. It did last year and I am not surprised. It’s the perfect date night bag, great for college girls, AND makes a darling Christmas gift. It comes in four colors: black, brown, blue, and blush!

5. Natori Feathers Bra

I have been wearing this Natori Feathers bra for years. It’s a great everyday bra that’s also pretty. Read the reviews on this one to see how much people love this bra. The neutral colors only go on sale a few times a year (note: there’s one color on sale where you don’t need a Nordstrom card!) But sizes go quickly. They run very small so go up at least one cup size and one band size. I normally am an A/B cup and wear a C in this. Crazy, right?!

6. Leopard Blanket Scarf

If there is one accessory you buy this year it should be this Sole Society Blanket Scarf ($26.90/$44.95) before it sells out! This looks exactly like one I paid a lot more for at Shopbop last year that sold out quickly. I wore it all winter long to dress up a dresses and jeans and give me warmth on a date night. (See how I styled it in yesterday’s 8 Classic Looks from the Nordstrom Sale post.) You can wear as a scarf or a wrap – so many different ways and it just elevates your look INSTANTLY. Of course, it makes a great gift for friends this fall!

7. Top Rated Leggings

Get your faux leather – but do it pronto because they will sell out. There are two popular faux leather leggings in the sale. I preferred the fabric of the Commando leggings I am wearing above (go up a size). But of course the Spanx are also super popular and have amazing reviews. They look more like liquid metallic to me but it’s just a matter of preference.

And don’t miss the Zella leggings (also read the reviews!). I have two pairs of these that are in constant rotation all year long. Good for walks, workout, our just running errands with a long top or jacket. Other outfit sources: Adidas ($63 in sale) and North Face pink rain coat).

8. NUNA Car Seats

I bought our NUNA Convertible Car Seat in the sale last year and it did not disappoint. They have the convertible seat, infant seat and the MIXX stroller in the sale. Last year the car seat sold out towards the end of early access. There are some other great baby deals as well which we will outline in our master sale post.

9. Comfiest Pajamas Ever

 

The popular Moonlight pajamas are on sale and tend to sell out in smaller sizes. This year they have the classic two-piece set, a short set, and a nightshirt in a pretty floral pink. Also a great gift. These run generous so if unsure size down.

10. Wubby Fleece Pullover

Tween and teen girls LOVE this pullover. And I do, too! This sold out lightening fast last Anniversary Sale and during the holidays. This is a size small but I think my daughter will want a medium – she likes it long over leggings. Comes in several colors!
