A few weeks ago I did a post on DoSayGive’s Fall Wardrobe Essentials. Today I am partnering with Nordstrom to show you how I am wearing these trends with my new favorite jeans.
I have been wanting to try the high-waist denim trend and these Paige Hoxton High Waist Skinny ankle jeans definitely won out my Nordstrom dressing room try on session. They are oh so comfy and I can wear them several days in a row without them stretching out, which seriously makes me so happy. (I hate that feeling of my jeans feeling baggy after a few hours of wear, don’t you?)
Y’all know I love stripes – I think everyone love stripes – but I found these two everyday Madewell tops at Nordstrom that I can mix and match and layered up this fall. I styled the blush stripe top above with leopard flats – a fall trend for sure. I’ve said this many times, but think of leopard as a neutral. You can pair it with other patterns. Seriously, it works!
And I styled the jeans with this blue striped ruffle blouse (ruffles are big this fall!) and another fall trend: mules! I have been looking for some brown tassel mules and finally found some made my Jack Rogers, available at Nordstrom, too. Bonus: I saw that they are 25% off today!
Note: I am wearing the shirts tucked in but I will also wear tucked out depending on my mood.
Nordstrom carries several washes and styles of the Paige Hoxton High Waist Skinny Jeans, depending if you want dark or light, regular, ankle, or crop skinny jeans. They fit true to size.
If you don’t have a Nordstrom – even if you do – consider ordering several styles to try on in the convenience of your own home and sending back what doesn’t work! Remember, free shipping and returns at Nordstrom. And at that price they will last for several years if you take good care of them. Always wash on the cold cycle with like colors and even turn them inside out before doing so. Hang to dry.
Thanks so much to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post and thank you to my readers for trusting me to bring you good content! All outfits are styled by me and opinions are my own.
