The Perfect Gold Bulletin Board

Give

I didn’t want to buy it. I wanted to find something cheaper. But after looking everywhere for something similar I came back to the original. Today I am sharing why I plan to keep this beautiful gold bulletin board for a long time as well as some other options for gold display boards and calendars!

A few months ago I posted on Instastories asking for a good source for an inexpensive gold bulletin board like this Pottery Barn Teen one. I looked at Michaels and Home Goods and everyone in between. I found some neat things (see below) but nothing compared to the original with it’s linen background, scalloped edges and oversized look. Yes, I could have painted a Target bulletin board but I wanted a scalloped one, and these scallops are beautifully painted much better than I could ever do.

I told my daughter this bulletin board is on loan because some day I might want it for my office! It really is that nice. And thankfully Pottery Barn Teen often has sales.

Because I had so many requests, I found some more cute options for gold bulletin boards and frames:

  1. I completely agree. I ended up buying this very same board for my twin daughters’ bedroom. And don’t even get me started on the prices for Restoration Hardware bulletin boards. You did such a great job with her room re-do. I loved this post!

  2. We cannot find that the desk is only about 40.00 at IKEA. It looks like online it is 119.00 What did you exactly get? Yours looks way smaller.
