I am a big believer in asking for recommendations when I travel — to somewhere new, or somewhere I’ve been before — whether from friends, family, or hunting for tips on social media. So whenever I have a recommendation, or discover something new, I love sharing with all of you! One of my favorite spots to visit is 30A in Florida (you can find my guide to all things 30A here). Recently I had the chance to stay at a newly opened boutique hotel called The Court Seaside— and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it!
The Court is a a new concept, boutique hotel that’s comprised of eight residences. All beautifully designed and appointed, right in the heart of Seaside. Just steps from the beach and iconic downtown! Each residence faces a communal “court,” otherwise known as The Lawn, and it’s a true garden oasis in the middle of the popular beach town. If you are needing to be in 30A for a quick trip – a wedding or a girls’ weekend perhaps – this would be a great place to stay. Or if the house you are renting doesn’t have enough space for everyone in the extended family, this would be a great option. I can also imagine it being a fabulous location for a small corporate retreat!
When staying at The Court you are steps from the town center (literally steps!) so you don’t need a car or to worry about parking. I enjoyed walking to get coffee at Seaside’s new Black Bear Bakery (wrote about their Grayton Beach location in this post!) You have access to all the Seaside pools and guests get access to complimentary bicycles during their stay! It makes getting around that much easier. If you’ve been to Seaside before, then you know that one of the best things about the town is that it’s bike-friendly with plenty of paths to explore the surroundings.
But, let’s talk about the rooms for a minute. I know that high-design is not always a given when renting a beach house or staying at a beach-side hotel. Let me tell you: The rooms at The Court are a total dream! Each one is furnished with Serena & Lily decor, Peacock Alley bedding, Nespresso coffeemakers, marble bathrooms, and more luxe touches. It’s like walking into a beachside paradise! Every detail is so well-thought-out and intentional. The best part: each room has its own private patio sitting area with a porch swing. While the actual rooms are on the smaller side, this patio extends the space so much! I picked up food at a local food truck and enjoyed dinner on my porch swing!
So whether you have an upcoming trip to Seaside planned or are hoping to get one on your calendar soon, I can’t recommend The Court enough. While on the pricier side with resort fees, the convenience and charm make it the perfect spot for a girls’ trip or weekend getaway!
