File this post away under things I never thought I’d be writing about here on DoSayGive. But here we are. With school just around the corner and some families getting out and about a bit more, children are starting to wear – and in some areas required to wear – face masks. With so many options we polled our readers to help us recommend the best fitting masks for different age ranges.
A few recommendations: Order now for school because there is both high demand coupled with delayed shipping times. Also, order a few different styles because every child’s face size and structure is different. Plus, you’ll want to have plenty of extras if your child loses his or her mask.
Note: we are recommending masks based on fit not protection level as we cannot speak to the efficacy of preventing spread of germs.

Face Shields
From what I understand it is not known if face shields protect others from the spray of respiratory particles. They may not be allowed at schools but some parents use them as an extra layer of protection for their children. Again, please check with your doctor for recommendations and your child’s school for what is allowed at school.
We share our favorite masks for tween and teen girls on DoSayGive Teen as well. Click here to see those!
