Summer Tabletop Favorites!

When summer rolls around, we find ourselves pulling out the same favorite tabletop pieces again and again, whether it’s a casual weeknight dinner with family or a spontaneous get-together with friends. Today we wanted to share some of those tabletop items for you to have in your own home – or to give as gifts. 

First, though, this summer we’ve fallen in love with a new brand we think you’ll adore: Posey & Byrd. Their tablecloths are as beautiful as they are meaningful, with charming patterns in cheerful colors and a Bible verse subtly included in every design. A few other things always seem to make their way to our summer table: the rattan pitcher (on sale and would make a great gift!) and matching glasses from Serena & Lily that feel just right for everything from sweet tea to lemonade. A few more things on sale that we love for a summer table: these bamboo silverware. We also love these bamboo placemats and rattan round placemats, and love mixing in these linen napkins from Amazon in various colors. 

These white melamine platters are a go-to for serving grilled veggies, appetizers and salads during the summer. For drinks, we use a classic glass drink dispenser from Pottery Barn, but you can find a budget-friendly version on Amazon.

Colorful Estelle or (or these World Market glasses add a playful pop to the table!), and we always have flickering outdoor flameless candles nearby to make the evening feel special, even if it’s just burgers on the patio. You can find cheaper ones on Amazon but the Pottery Barn outdoor flameless flickering candles last forever and don’t melt in the sun.

We also love a good tray for serving, especially the woven ones from Serena & Lily, and they make great hostess gifts. Another great gift for a host? Some great salad tongs. These wooden tongs from Anthroplogie are so pretty!
