Looking for the perfect — and I mean perfect — summer dessert for Independence Day weekend? Look no further! You may remember this beautiful lemon tart that I featured in my Memorial Day Table Inspiration post. Well, today I am so thrilled to share the recipe from my friend Elisabeth of Elisabeth & Butter! It’s simple, beautiful, and delicious — and would be a fabulous and crowd-pleasing dessert for any and all of your July 4th festivities this coming weekend, or anything else you’re celebrating this summer.
I love how fresh and zesty this Lemon Tart is! You can top it however you’d like — we used fresh berries and lemon slices (again, perfect for the Fourth of July!), but it would look just as beautiful with whipped cream or as is. All of Elisabeth’s recipes are incredible and simple, too. I just made her Fresh Strawberry Cake (no jello or cake mix in this recipe!) for Louise’s birthday earlier this month, and it would also be a fabulous “wow” dessert to make for a party this holiday weekend.
