I don’t know about you, but I’m gearing up for all things fall (and hoping that cooler weather hurries its way to Dallas!). I found the prettiest, sustainably manufactured dress at Nordstrom and think it’s perfect for that tricky wardrobe transition between summer to fall. I think y’all are going to love it too, especially since it can be dressed up for a date night or event or worn more casually for lunch with a friend or running around town. Keep reading to see!

I don’t normally tend towards greens but I couldn’t resist the beautiful green color of this Reformation dress. It’s not too summery to wear well into fall, and the small floral print and bows tied over the shoulders are a lovely feminine touch. I paired the dress with delicate nude heels and rattan earrings for a dressier look.
Sustainable style is an increasingly hot topic so I was excited to see that this Reformation dress is part of Nordstrom’s sustainable style collection. Because it is so well made, it is a dress that will last for years. Both Reformation and Nordstrom are committed to responsibly manufacturing clothing. I love any opportunity to support brands working to be a voice for change in the fashion industry.
I like for my more expensive clothing items to be worn several ways, so I also styled the same dress for a more casual look. The dress would be perfect to throw on for an outdoor lunch with a girlfriend.
I paired the dress with a denim jacket and sneakers for a daytime look. The denim jacket will be the perfect extra layer once fall finally arrives and the sneakers complete the casual (but chic!) look. On that note, a white sneaker that’s part of Nordstrom’s sustainable style collection are these super popular Veja brand.
Nordstrom’s dedicated collection makes it so easy to shop their sustainable fashion offerings like this sustainably manufactured dress. If you’re interested in learning more about this initiative, you can get more info here!
