I’ve had two massive try on sessions at my local Nordstrom to help y’all shop online. I’m excited to show you my favorites and sizing info.
Remember, the sale is only open to Nordstrom cardmembers right now (you can still get a card and shop the sale!) but everyone else can shop the sale Friday.
Love the fit and price of this Pink Jacket (wearing a small). I bought this because I know I will wear a lot this fall. TheseRag and Bone Jeans (tts) are part of the sale and fit true to size. I could resist these Sam Edelman leopard flats! The flats run a tad big but I still got my normal size 9. If you are between sizes go down.
Everyone needs one of these Thread Supply pullovers! I wear my husband’s more expensive one just about every Saturday in colder months. It comes in several colors and also a new zip up version. These will probably sell fast. (I am wearing a small.) Same Rag and Bone Jeans as above! And these Vince Camuto booties I bought in last year’s NSALE are back and updated just a bit. I wear mine so often in the fall. Go with almost anything and run true to size.
If you know anything about the Nordstrom Sale, you know about Barefoot Dreams cardigans. I wanted this Barefoot Dreams Cardigan in pink but it was sold out in store. It runs VERY big (this is a small/medium) but if you are just wearing around the house with leggings it might be perfect. These Frame Jeans fit true to size. I came home with these! And this Caslon Teeis a great price and fits tts. None of these under $20 tees in the sale are the absolute finest quality but great for one season.
This Barefoot Dreams Cardigan is probably the most popular style. It comes in so many colors and has more of a fit than the one above. Last year this sold out during Early Access. This is the one I told you that’s great to give for Christmas gifts. I also mention this is my what to bring someone in the hospital post – I would have loved one of these while receiving visitors at the hospital! It has a bit more of a shape then the Barefoot Dreams cardigan above. I got the xs/s size. Comes in several colors.
I bought these Rebecca Minkoff Mules which also come in black. (Hard choice!) These AG Prima Jeans weren’t my favorite on me but fit tts. I like my original AG jeans fit better.
How cute are these Mother jeans?? Fit true to size. Also loving this J. Crew white blouse. ($58; $88 after the sale.) I got a small in this top.
This tee is probably my favorite budget tee in the sale because of the shape and it’s really a tunic (long in back). It runs on the slender size. They didn’t have a white Halogen Tee in store so I am not sure if it’s too see through but this one I am wearing is a nice base layer for fall.
Ahh Marigold! A celebrity favorite right now. I love how J.Crew used it in this coat! It’s not the best color on moi but I really wanted to take it home. If this color looks good on you, I highly recommend getting it! I am wearing a 6 here because they didn’t have a 4 in store, but the 4 would be better on me. Basically it fits true to size. Also can you see my Earrings? I came home with these! Such a great gift, too.
I saw this Halogen Top online and had to have it! I am wearing a small. And these Kut from the Kloth jeans are my favorite “budget” jeans in the sale. My sister raved about them last year and now I am raving about them. Fit true to size.
I really wanted this coat but ended up with the one below as it’s more “me.” But this one is so cozy! It runs big. I am wearing a small here. You can see how I will be wearing these Sam Edelman flats with so many outfits this fall. Same Kut from the Kloth jeans as above.
I told y’all how much I wanted this Badgley Mischka Coat and I scored one! Yay! This is a small but I am a 4 and maybe could have worn an XS. (Sleeves are an issue for me though because my arms are long.) It also comes in gray. Same Kut from the Kloth jeans and Sam Edelman flats.
I really wanted this Halogen Cashmere Wrap in camel (hoping they will restock online!) but I love the gray, too. It’s ‘one size fits all’ so a nice gift, too. There are such great deals on cashmere in the sale. AG Prima Jeans are the ones I wore above and shoes are from last year but these Vince Camuto Shoes are the updated version.
This Madewell Sweater is a little too chunky for me but might be perfect for a college girl or high school girl that loves that look. Runs big but again, that’s the look. I am wearing a small.
I didn’t get this Floral Dress, but wanted to show you a pic. Cute with black boots or booties! Also, there’s a better shot of my Earrings.
I told y’all I got these Asics in my shoe post roundup yesterday. (Read my full NSALE shoe roundup here.) These are a great buy especially because Asics are so pricey to begin with. Also, I found this adorable Nike windbreaker. So cute! This is a small and you can see it’s generous.
I saw a reader in Nordstrom yesterday and she was SO happy she scored one of the Barbour quilted coats I linked in my full sale roundup post. I raved about my coat like this last year and plan to wear for years. I like this black because it’s not a jet black. Also comes in gray. These will sell out! As will these Barbour waxed jackets that you’ve seen the royals wear when on a country holiday. If you are between sizes I would size up.
On that note, think about getting your husband or dad a Barbour coat for Christmas! Classic gift that he will enjoy for years to come. (Read my original Barbour post here.)
