Wine is a no fail hostess gift but sometimes it feels a little bare. Today I am showing a few easy ways to “dress up” a bottle of wine for all the holiday parties you are attending.
It is always gracious to thank the hosts of a party with a gift. We have lots of ideas in our Hostess Gift Guide but, when in doubt, bring wine!
Add a cute Christmas tag!
Adding a wine tag and pretty ribbon to a bottle of wine is an easy way to add a personal touch. A set of custom tags would also be a lovely gift for the hosts or just for friends this year. Trust me, they will use them!
Wrap it in a nice dish towel
Can this get any easier?? And it’s really two gifts in one! I often check Anthropologie’s home section for kitchen towels on sale and stock up for things just like this (tip: tea towels are also cute to wrap homemade breads!). I added some pretty ribbon and faux holly berries for a nice finishing touch!
Tie your bottle to a nice cheese board
Tying your wine bottle to a nice cheese board is the perfect pairing for a nice holiday hostess gift. You can find cheese boards at all price points to make this method of wine gifting as affordable as you would like. I found a similar one to the one above on Amazon. I have even seen some at Trader Joe’s. Add luxurious ribbon to hold it together and make a beautiful presentation. If you are looking for something extra to add, try adding these adorable cheese markers or a nice set of cheese knives.
Wrap it in an elegant wine bag
These darling wine bags from Lucy Grymes are the perfect, stress-free way to assemble the cutest hostess gift. DoSayGive readers can save 15% on a set of 6 with the code DOSAYGIVE15, too!
Wow your hostess with this double wine tote
I saw this amazing wine tote on one of my favorite gifting websites, Barrington Gifts, and knew it would be the perfect hostess gift. It would be especially perfect for the couple that likes to take their own wine when they go to dinner parties. It can be completely personalized with your choice of pattern, color, and font style. It fits two bottles of wine and is so cute! This would also be a great business gift, too.
