The Best Swimsuit Brands for Tween Girls!

We know that tween girls can be hard to shop for — they’ve outgrown little girl sizes but aren’t quite ready for teen styles. First, here are a few tips when shopping for girls in the 8-12 age range. For girls who are are self-conscious about their developing bodies, look for suits with a thicker fabric or a ruffle or pattern around the bust area. Girl sizes don’t fit? Many brands have adult XXS sizing which may work better than girls’ sizing. Finally, order early in the year for best selection because many of these cute and age appropriate brands styles sell out by the time summer hits!

Albion Fit:  Fully lined, this performance brand goes up to size 12 in children but also XXS in adults. 

Maaji: Their girls sizing goes up to 16!

Eyelet & Ivy: We love this classic (and affordable) brand, and they have great swimwear for tweens up to size 16. Their swimsuit pre-order is open now and the items will ship soon! 

GAP: These go up to size XL (14/16). Their swimsuits this year are so fun and they have a great selection of coverups, too. 

Vineyard Vines:Their girls’ sizing goes up to size XL, and women’s sizes start at XXS.

Snapper Rock: Another cute brand for boys and girls, Snapper Rock goes up to size 14 with free shipping from Nordstrom! 

Land’s End: Great for the active girl. Girls’ sizing goes up to 14/16 and they also have kids plus and kids slim sizing. 

Boden: Cute styles up to size 13/14.
