I am always on the hunt for age-appropriate girls’ clothing. And when I come across something great, I love to share it with my readers. If you have been following DoSayGive, you know my love for Florence Eiseman’s children’s clothing. But I didn’t know until recently that Florence Eiseman has a separate line called Studio 342 that’s just for girls sizes 7-14 (and another line just for boys!).
Last weekend my seven year old had her first daddy/daughter dance. She was so excited for this “big girl” right of passage, but she made it clear she did not want to wear anything babyish. This dress from Studio 342 was the absolute perfect thing to wear because it is not only age-appopriate but also absolutely precious. Even better, my daughter loved it!
This pale pink striped sheer dress cuts right above the knee and, as if it couldn’t get any prettier, it has a cut out on the back with a bow:
Oh how I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for the daddy/daughter dance. My husband said they had a rose ceremony where each dad got down on one knee and told his daughter a special thing he loved about her. (Cue: tears!).
Her pink striped dress is $72 and would be the perfect thing for a young girl to wear to a special occasion, a wedding, or even Easter. Like all Florence Eiseman dresses, it is timeless in style so can be be passed down to sisters and cousins!
And don’t worry, boy moms. I’ve got a fun discovery for you, too! It’s not a dressy line, but Florence Eiseman does have a darling line of boys’ sporty clothes that fits sizes 2T -7. The name of the line is T.F. Laurence and you can buy directly online, too. I know my Dallas friends will just love this line. Here are some of their cute things for Spring/Summer:
And, remember, you don’t have to go searching boutiques for Florence Eiseman swimsuits anymore – you can buy directly online from their website. We always have at least one Florence Eiseman bathing suit each year; they are just too adorable to resist!
Also, I added a Spring Children’s Clothing and Shoes Essentials list to my SHOP category, including the shoes my daughter wore with this dress. I have been looking for shoes and sweaters for Easters so figured I might gather them up for y’all to save you time. (Boys stuff and all the sandals you will need, too!). Read it here.
(And if you didn’t read my post last fall about “Dressing Children Like Children” featuring Florence Eiseman clothes you can read that here.)
Have you heard of these darling lines before? Would love to know!
