Who doesn’t love a good Amazon find?! Today I am sharing thirteen awesome things you can buy on Amazon, including my go-to tees and knockoff bamboo handbag. And, of course, I am sharing some great gift ideas that ship free with Prime!
Food Storage Containers
I recently read about these containers in this article from Southern Living and they remind me of what my grandmother used to use to store leftovers. They are dishwasher and microwave shape and they stack nicely inside of each other to store in your pantry. Tupperware can get so expensive, but these are about 50 cents a piece and are so durable! Easy (and pretty) for taking food to new moms, too!
Generic Replacement Brush Heads for Clarisonic
One of my favorite hacks is buying these replacement heads for my Clarisonic Cleansing Brush. One Clarisonic brand brush replacement is $27, but on Amazon you can get two generic replacement brushes for $11. These are nearly the same quality as the Clarisonic brand brush replacements at a fraction of the price, making it easier and inexpensive for you to replace your brush heads as frequently as is recommended (every 3-4 months for those using their Clarisonic once per day).
Popular Water Bottles
You can buy all the popular water brands on Amazon these days like Hydroflask and this top rated Contigo I got for my daughter to take to camp. This water bottle is a recent find. It syncs via Bluetooth with your Android or iPhone to help you how many oz/mL of water you have consumed that day. It will also light up when it is time to drink more water to keep you on track with your goal. A fun gift idea for a friend!
Bubble Bath
This is one of my favorite bubble baths! You can find this brand at Neiman Marcus, but at a lower price on Amazon. Treat yourself to a bubble bath that will make your skin silky smooth or order this as a gift for a friend who deserves some time to herself! It ships Prime so you can get in a hurry.
Library Tote
Okay all my DoSayGive’s Classic Summer Reading Book Club friends, this tote would be PERFECT for a library bag to tote all your good books home. And would be such a cute children’s gift filled with books. Many other titles available!
Avanchy Bowl Set
These are the all-natural bowls I have used with Louise and I love them! They are so handy, with the suction cup bottom to make them stay put, and are offered in a few different colors. These make a great gift for a new mom and ship Prime. Note: these are hand wash only.
Willow Door Baskets
I ordered these door baskets a few months ago from an obscure home website I can’t find any more but after receiving so many questions about them I decided to find another source. And, yay, Amazon has ones that look identical and same measurements – pretty sure it’s the same manufacturer. They are perfect for all seasons because I can add whatever sort of seasonal decorations inside. I put these little British flags in them for the Royal Wedding in May. I put hydrangeas in them with American flags for Independence Day.
Gold Shelves
My sister told me about these gold shelves on Amazon. They have such a high-end look, but are a fraction of the price of some of the name brand stores. It might be time to add them to my cart!
Bamboo Handbag
I don’t like spending a lot of money on trendy things (if at all!). But I’ve been eyeing the Cult Gaia bag for a few years. When I saw this lookalike bamboo handbag on Amazon I had to buy. It can surprisingly fit quite a bit inside.
Cotton T-Shirts
I love these cotton t-shirts! They are so easy to throw on when I need to rush out the door, plus everyone needs a good white tee! While they aren’t as high of quality as my other favorite Z Supply t-shirts, they are great for a season or two.
Stainless Steel Straws
These straws have a cult following on Amazon! With the movement away from plastic straws (Americans use half a billion straws each day!), these are perfect to keep on hand for your family. My friend gave me some several years ago and they make your drinks taste so cold – perfect for summer iced tea! They will also make guests feel extra fancy when you serve them a drink with this straw in it! Don’t worry, they won’t give your drink a metal taste.
Capri Blue Four Pack
I’m sure all of you are familiar with Capri Blue candles as they are the go-to gift for so many people! Amazon offers a four pack of candles at $110 whereas one candle is $28-30 at Anthropologie. So it’s a little bit of savings – and Prime shipping. These are great to keep on hand for last minute gifts and they are available in all of their signature scents.
Ballet and Dance Shoes
A few years ago I reduced my back to school errands when I realized Capezio and Bloch ballet shoes are on Amazon, along with tights and leotards and ship Prime. I sometimes order two sizes and send back what doesn’t work. Mom hack indeed!
Keep in mind, Amazon Prime Day is coming up on July 16th! In the past, deals have just been so-so, but I will be sure to share any good ones that I find on Instagram and Instastories. It’s also a great time to buy Amazon electronics like Kindles and Echos.
