It is already feeling like spring in Dallas so today I am sharing some of my favorite spring staples, including tried and true brands I love. Y’all will love how easy it will be to mix and match the pieces in today’s post!
Casual Dresses – I have a friend that wears casual dresses nearly everyday during the spring and summer and always looks so put together. And they don’t have to be pricey. A $15 Old Navy striped dress looks great paired with the right sandals and tote. I think a striped dress is a great addition to a spring wardrobe so I am linking several styles below in different price points. I can’t wait to get this dress in the mail and wear all season.
Casual Tennis Shoes – One of my favorite trends this season is casual tennis shoes. These are so easy to throw on and go, but look so classic and refined. I recently purchased these Superga sneakers, but here are a few of my other favorite finds.
Tops – Having a few essential tops going into the Spring is so important. We all know that as we get closer to the end of the school year life tends to speed up and I find myself throwing on an easy top that goes with everything. White tops are a great go to with jeans and a great pair of earrings. I love this one from Madewell.
Sandals – As we dip into warmer months here in Dallas people will start wearing their cute sandals. I’ve found a cognac color goes with everything and looks so classic with any outfit, particular white jeans which I’ve linked below. Also these Tory Burch espadrilles would be a chic alternative if your climate isn’t calling for sandals quite yet.
*Any of these dresses/outfit combos can be dressed up for a meeting or dinner with a great pair of wedge sandals. Also love these under $100 wedges.
White Jeans – I basically live in my white jeans all Spring and Summer! I have a few favorites, but my go-to pants are these J. Crew White Jeans. BUT, you guys know I love my Paige Hoxton Jeans and they come in white! My favorite part about these is that the button is white! Scroll through a few of my other favorite brands that have a great fit and are easy to where all day.
Cardigan – A spring staple! I think an elegant cream pullover with white jeans looks so Hamptons-esque during the spring. It doesn’t have to be expensive either. Pair with white tennies or sandals (or some cute wedge sandals for dinner!).
Totes – Having a tote that you can throw everything in makes life so easy! Although it may not stay as organized as I want, I love the ease of totes and especially this recent purchase from Nordstrom that so many of y’all asked about on Instastories.
I hope this post helps you shop for some everyday spring basics that you feel great in! Let me know if you’ve tried any of the styles in the comments below. And if you haven’t entered the $500 Children’s Portrait Giveaway enter in yesterday’s post!
I love your choices. You have such great taste and show us styles in all price ranges. Thank you.
I had never heard of Madewell before I clicked on the link for the nice white shirt. I actually ended up ordering 2 tops and loved a lot of things they had. Thank you for all the time you put into posting all this fashion stuff with links. I am the last person in my family that I take care of and rarely shop and never know where to look. Your posts are so helpful. Thank you!
oh good! I don’t know why I thought it was a SF brand! Maybe it an east coast brand but they have great jeans and great basics.
