We’ve been in 30A for a couple of weeks now, and one of my favorite things about being here is the spontaneity in our days. Sure, we do school at home and try to keep to a schedule. But there’s something about being walking distance to the beach and having the picturesque town center nearby that brings a sense of excitement to our daily routine.

I love this outfit for daytime — it’s so versatile and easy! This linen shirt will be a staple of mine for years to come, too. It’s made with Irish linen, which is considered to be the best in the world, and it is so incredibly soft! I love that it has the look of chambray, but the feel of linen. It’s the perfect summertime shirt.
And how cute are these shorts?! I like that the tiny Liberty floral print gives them a feminine touch, especially when paired with a classic button-down. To complete the look, I added some of my favorite J. Crew jewelry and this classic cotton-cashmere sweater. This would be great for cool nights at the beach.
