J.Crew Factory Denim Styling Made Easy! (Event Recap, too!)

Wear

Last Friday I had the fun hosting duties at J.Crew Factory in Dallas for their Denim for Days event. I loved styling effortless everyday outfits for the DoSayGive readers that came, but wanted to do the same for those that couldn’t attend! So today I am recapping the event and sharing a few everyday outfits you can recreate with J.Crew Factory denim.

This post is sponsored by J.Crew Factory. Thanks so much for supporting the brands I love!

It was so nice to meet so many DoSayGive readers that came last Friday. And I loved hanging out with the incredible J.Crew team at the Shops at Park Lane location. I hope y’all were able to fit in a Cherry manicure and make yourself a little Sugarwish party favor in between trying on denim!

Speaking of denim, I have been living in these 9″ high-rise skinny jeans all January. They compare to much more higher priced denim and I love that they don’t stretch out, even after wearing them all day. The 9″ high-rise skinny jeans come in secen different washes, including distressed. And they fit true to size.

I don’t know about you, but it is so easy for me to fall into a wardrobe slump in January. It’s usually cold and dull outside and all I want to be is comfortable and warm. At the same time, though, I try to look somewhat put together. I seem to get so much more accomplished when I do!

Lately I’ve been reaching for my J.Crew jeans in the morning and layering colors and textures on top for easy “mom” looks. For example, I’ve gotten so much wear out of the navy sweater blazer I wore to the event. It looks so smart layered with a striped sweater or this striped turtleneck.

That same striped turtleneck is also cozy layered under this sherpa pullover – perfect for damp winter days! Note: it runs on the shorter side so it’s cute to leave the turtleneck untucked.

If you are looking to change up your winter wardrobe a bit, try an elegant winter white palette. So pretty for a casual dinner or even a cool spring break look. I came home from the event with these white jeans and this darling scalloped sweater (comes in several colors.) This pink v-neck sweater is also pretty with the lighter wash jeans, especially heading into spring. Leopard flats would go with either of these outfits.

Side note: If you don’t have a pair of black denim, I highly recommend these mid-rise skinny black jeans from J.Crew Factory. They serve the same purpose as your go-to black pants, but are a lot more fun to wear!

During the month of January you can get $20 off a pair of full-price denim with the donation of an old pair of jeans. Blue Jeans Go Green™ program will recycle your old denim into natural cotton fiber housing insulation for communities in need. So cool!

Please DM or tag any pics on Instagram with @dosaygive if you styled your J.Crew denim in any of these ways – I’d love to share on Instagram Stories!

Thanks to J.Crew Factory for having me!
