Classic Fall Outfit with Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Finds

Last week I shared an easy boho-style fall outfit I found at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This week I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom again to share a more classic fall look, using some beautiful (and affordable!) fall wardrobe basics from the sale.

I hope you’ve found some amazing deals so far using all of my #NSale posts. But there are still so many great deals to be had! For me, the Nordstrom Annivesary Sale is a great time to buy quality wardrobe basics my fall wardrobe relies upon: jeans, flats, boots, sweaters, even a fresh new coat. Nordstrom always has such a great combination of trendy and classic clothes, so why not buy them on sale? Remember, prices on these brand new items will return to normal on August 8th.

This ribbed merino wool blend top is a fall must. It comes in four colors and is on sale for $44.90 ($68 after the sale). I bought the cream color because I always need a good neutral layering base for outfits, but I might snag the black, too.

I found this hooded open vest in the accessories department. (Update: it’s sold out but find other cute sale vests here.) I told y’all before the sale I was in the market for a camel coat, but I opted for this instead. Yes, it’s a vest, but it is so cozy and warm – perfect for fall in the Lonestar State where last year I don’t think I wore a coat until January! It comes in three colors and is one-size-fits-all. Better yet, it is under $50 (and will be $78 after the sale).

If you are looking for a fantastic deal on jeans, I scored these Joe’s Jeans for nearly 50% off (reg. $189, on sale for $99!). If they don’t have your size, I also really loved these AG cigarette jeans from my dressing room selfies post and they currently have all sizes available ($149; $225 after the sale).

Oh and I am sure you wanted to see the coat I bought, right? Like I said, I was thinking I wanted a camel coat, but I saw this cream coat and just had to have it. I’ve actually had a cream coat for about eight years and wear it often. But last year it was starting to look a little dingy so I am replacing it with this one (if it ever gets cold in Dallas!). It looks great with the camel flats I posted on Instagram last week.

This coat also comes in black and a preppy navy! (For size reference, mine is a small.)
