Over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house we go on Christmas Day. After opening presents by the fire and delighting in croissants and hot chocolate, our family likes to dress comfortable, yet still festive, for the rest of the day. I found the perfect sweater dress from Anthropologie to wear on Christmas Day that will be even cozier with my Uggs. And, of course, I have to share the sweetest timeless gifts that your little little ones will love opening on the 25th!

After family gatherings a nice walk outside for some fresh winter air does everyone some good, don’t you think? Especially at Christmas.
Louise wants to be outside all the tine lately. She loves finding acorns and leaves to put inside her buggy along with her dolls. We’ll definitely be taking our walks in Arkansas over the holiday break because there is just so much more nature to explore than in our city life.
This buggy has been fun for Louise to store all her nature finds and dolls in. Similarly, this darling wicker picnic basket would perfect for a little one’s treasures. I love gifts that will last an entire childhood and maybe even be able to be tucked away for grandchildren some day. Here are some more like that from Anthropologie:
