I love giving DoSayGive readers my recommendations but I also love when y’all share your favorites with me. Walmart activewear is something several DSG readers have told me to try so I finally ordered some budget-friendly pieces that are perfect for lounging and working out home at home right now.
This post is sponsored by Walmart. Thank you for supporting the brands that support my small business!
At the start of social distancing working out was one of my lowest priorities. But I soon realized how important it is for relieving stress, even just a brisk walk around the block can do wonders for mental and physical health.
Now that my family has fallen into a social distancing routine, I’ve been trying to get up early and take one daughter on a bike ride before Louise wakes up. There aren’t a lot of people out and it gives me one-on-one time with my older girls (something that has been hard to come by in our house lately!).
I also want to start doing more quick, online workouts so ordered some pieces from Walmart, including these patterned leggings and this 2-pack of Athletic Works tanks. (If your want basic black leggings, these leggings are best sellers on Walmart.com.)
Probably my favorite athleisure purchase so far is this drapey knit cardigan. So cozy and doesn’t wrinkle- and it’s on sale right now. I also ordered these joggers (also on sale!). Note: the Athletic Works line runs very generous so size down.
Have you tried any athletic wear from Walmart? What are your favorites?
We’ve tried a few things. My girls have several of the tank tops on the top row of your post (the gray and navy ones you posted). They really like them. They also both have a couple of pairs of running shorts- the Athletic Works 5” inseam ones. I’ve noticed they run big so they both wear XS. Small swallowed them. I also found for myself that the large was way too big, but the medium had a smaller waist, but big in the legs. So I think it definitely helps to try them on…which is a little tricky right now. But I really do like their tanks because they don’t cost $60 each! And last well!
I know! Thanks for the short recommendations. And, yes many of these things do run big so size down in most cases.
