A plaid shirt (particularly, a red plaid shirt) is a must-have this fall. I am showing you how to style it six ways with many of the things you probably already have in your closet! {If you want the one I am wearing, click here})
#1: Smart Weekday Look
Such an easy go-to outfit with boyfriend jeans and my favorite foldable flats. Add a cute furry vest on cooler days. (Oh and don’t forget this super popular and reasonable reversible tote that comes in a ton of colors!).
#2: Chic on a Drizzly Fall Day
Who knew duck boots could look so chic!! I think I am going to channel my duck hunter husband and get some this year. I like the short ones for easy on/off on a rainy day. Of course some Hunter wells would also look cute with this outfit!
#3: Cowboy Cool!
Cowboy boots are a must-have in Texas. Great for a casual weekend look. Here’s how to style them with a plaid shirt (floppy hat, anyone?):
If you’re not into the cowboy boot look, then my booties would look super cute with this outfit, too!
#4 Preppy Perfect
With a camel coat and some brown boots, you can’t go wrong with this refined look:
I also like these lower-priced brown tall boots. And these Sam Edelman boots are on sale and come in a wide-calf.
#5 Casual and Crisp Weekend Look with Uggs
I love this coat from J.Crew that comes in LOTS of colors. It’ one you will have for years. Get it for 25% off right now with code LOVEFALL. With 3-button Uggs like mine, and a scarf, you’ve got a great weekend outfit.
If it’s not too cold, yet a puffy vest is another good addition to this ensemble.
#6 The “I’m Not Leaving Home All Day” Look
Curl up with a good book in your cozy joggers and awesome moc slippers. You won’t be embarrassed to to answer to door in this ensemble:
Below are all the red toned plaid shirts I found. If you like a shirt, be sure to click on the link to check the store’s website for any additional sales.
