Valentine snack mix homemade

I love a good snack mix but my children are currently obsessed with all different salty and sweet varieties. So I was tickled to see Joy and Oliver’s Valentine’s Snack Mix recipe (that can be made gluten-free!) and thought it would be so cute to use for little Valentine’s Gifts. I love making memories with my children that require little prep work yet stick in their heads for a good long while. And this snack mix fits the bill. The recipe uses freeze-dried strawberries but if you don’t like the strawberry flavor you can omit them. And if you want to make gluten-free just purchase gluten-free pretzels!

This mix would be fun to munch on during Valentine’s week (just store in an airtight container). It would also make a thoughtful gift for a friend or neighbor. We linked some cute ones below!

Don’t forget, Joy Creative has printable Valentine’s you can download right off her site. This one would be so cute to pair with the snack mix!

  1. I love these ideas and will make a 💗 mix for my family. Unfortunately, in this continuing season of Covid, most school are asking (or requiring) that students bring individually wrapped, prepackaged treats to give to their classmates. ☚ī¸
