Twelve states have tax free holidays this weekend – and that includes online shopping! Paired with some incredible sales (which I’m detailing below) it is a great weekend to shop for what you need!
The following states have tax free holidays through Sunday: Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Iowa, New Mexico, and Missouri. Each state has it’s specific law but for the most part each individual clothing or shoe item has to be under $100 to qualify for tax free status. In Texas, for example, you can buy as many under $100 clothing and shoe items as you want and still not pay taxes on them.
So here are the sales to take advantage of this weekend:
Saint Bernard – No Tax on Anything Online + Free Shipping + Free Southern Tide Hat!
This is amazing – You won’t pay tax on ANY item of any price point this weekend on Saint Bernard’s website (remember, they have free 3-day shipping, too!). It’s just something nice they are doing for their customers! So if you want to buy a Yeti cooler or ski gear for next winter, now is a great time. In store, no tax for Texas residents on backpacks, clothing, and shoes.
