So what are girls loving these days? My daughter and her friends LOVE Burts Bees products and Walmart has them all. This lip shimmer and this lip balm set are always a favorite and I love that they offer a fun touch of color but nothing too bold- perfect for girls just delving into the world of makeup.
This Burts Bees blush is another favorite and I love this tried and true mascara and concealer for girls. The concealer has a bit of salycic acid so it’s good for covering breakouts.
As for fun beauty tools, BeautyBlenders help those teens who are just staring to wear makeup blend their coverage a little better. They come in tons of colors and sizes and I was so pleased to see that they are now available at Walmart, too. This cool tool that has two brushes and a sponge all in one – I am thinking this would be a fun item to add to a birthday gift.
As for hair tools and products, high ponytails and scrunchies seem to be the favorite among teens. I think as they get older (or for special occasions!) girls become a little more interested in styling their hair. This leave-in spray is a great introductory product for girls (but I love it, too!). It helps with smoothing frizzy hair and also detangles and offers heat protection. Walmart also carries some of the higher-end beauty tools, too. This or this straightener are so popular among teens.
