I think many of us are on the same page and don’t want to give our children a lot of junky toys and candy for Easer. So I’ve gathered some simple ideas for babies, toddlers, children, and teens to make pretty and purposeful Easter baskets!
First, I wanted to show y’all some darling Easter baskets. I just adore the oval Easter basket I got for Louise from The Bow Next Door (top photo). You can also just buy a basket bow separately. Here are a few more:
Before I get to the fun Easter basket filler ideas remember March 1st is the last day to order these Camille’s Creations hand-painted Easter Eggs with DoSayGive’s exclusive discount. Use code DOSAYGIVE for 15% off.
You can collect these each year or you can just order some for decor for your Easter table or place settings.
Okay now for my favorite (and simple!) ideas for baskets. I am showing you a lot of ideas but you really don’t need a lot in baskets. A few simple and sweet things. My biggest mistake with Easter baskets years ago was buying really big ones – because then I had to spend so much to actually fill them!
Baby Easter Basket Ideas
Books, books, and more books! Books about Easter and spring are great, maybe a Jellycat stuffed animal (the softest!) or rattle something they need like a new teether. A monogrammed baby robe or how about these little babies booties for a baby boy. (Basket in this post.) Scroll through to see more cute ideas:
Toddler Easter Basket Ideas
Love this little wooden rabbit rolling toy. Maybe some new toddler cups and a cute new beach towel from TBBC (we’ve had this one for years!). Sun Sandals are a summer must – might as well include in the Easter basket. And anything for the outdoors – like sidewalk chalk. Of course, books as well! So many classics in this post. P.S. This basket is from PB Kids but a reader said Wal Mart has super similar ones (not online).
Children’s Easter Basket Ideas
Spring is a great time to talk about God’s creation and new life. A packet of seeds from your local garden store (or these) and ceramic pots or garden tools for planting would be darling, books on seeds and eggs. The Jesus Storybook Bible is my favorite children’s Bible. For girls, a monogrammed hair bow. Or those darling Lolo headbands I shared on Instagram yesterday or the Little Sister in a Box. Sunglasses are cute. These carrot surprises from Sugarfina are cute for boys and girls. I also love the idea of a blank sketch book and colored pencils to take outside and sketch the beautiful blooming trees. Slime-making mateirals. Also a personalized beach towel, flip flops, and other summer staples are exciting to see in an Easter basket. Other boy ideas – and girls might like these, too – plastic animals or superlava. Basket is from Pottery Barn Kids.
Tween/Teen Easter Basket Ideas
First, how darling are these jelly baskets? I wanted to share because they are on sale for $6.99! So cute to use as tweens and teens girl baskets or just to wrap up an Easter gift really cute. Things to include in teen Easter baskets include a pop socket, iTunes gift card or restaurant gift cards for boys, stationery, candy. How beautiful is this custom Bible. A monogrammed beach towel. An adult coloring book with nice colored pencils. A water bottle or jug for boys.
Hope these ideas helped! See last year’s post for more ideas.
