DoSayGive’s Holiday Gift Guide launched in early November so many of you have already browsed my gift picks for women. But today I am sharing some details and photos of some of my favorite gifts for women. If you are looking for a meaningful gift she will love, I think you will find it in this guide. (And if you want your husband or boyfriend to shop well for you this year, I have a solution for that, too!)
First, I am thrilled to tell you about this gift idea from DoSayGive Holiday Gift Guide sponsor, Jenn Thatcher Art. Bookshelf styling is totally a (fun!) thing these days and a small piece of abstract art can really give your bookshelf that wow factor which, of course, makes it an incredible gift!
If you are in Dallas you may have seen this talented artist on Good Morning Texas this morning. I have a piece of Jenn Thatcher Art hanging in my office (will post a photo soon!). But her gorgeous framed 4 x 6 acrylic blocks ($160) and 7 x 15 gold frames ($210) with original artwork make such fun gifts
These are so lovely for a friend, mom, or sister. Actually, I gave one of her acrylic block paintings (below) to my sister as a little thank you gift recently. Good news! You can use code DOSAYGIVE for $20 off the list price. Browse her pieces here.
Now you may have seen my mom tearing up over this next gift pick on my Instastories a few weeks ago. North Carolina artist, Anne Neilson, just released a special edition of her popular and very moving Angels in our Midst book called Angels: The Collector’s Edition.
I think I first heard about Anne Neilson on Kathie Lee and Hoda’s Today show hour. Her paintings are little out of my price range;) So I was just thrilled when she sent me her latest book to preview.
I am not exaggerating when I say this is the most beautiful coffee table book I have ever seen. Packaged in a lovely gray gift box, and encased in a lucite sleeve, this book is filled with Anne’s incredibly moving paintings (did I mention my mom cried looking through the pages when she was visiting recently?!).
It also includes inspirational stories about people doing the Lord’s work all over the country as well as beautiful quotations from artists like Stephen Curtis Chapman and Matthew West.
The forward of Angels: The Collector’s Edition is written by Same Kind of Different As Me author and friend of the artist, Ron Hall (definitely read that book before the movie comes out in January!). A percentage of the proceeds of Angels: The Collector’s Edition go toward fighting homelessness and chronic poverty so it’s a gift that gives back as well! Browse all of Anne Neilson Home’s beautiful gift selections here.
Here are all of DoSayGive’s top picks for her. Enjoy browsing these beautiful gifts!
Now if you want your husband or boyfriend to give you something you love this year, you have two options. Forward him this post (below) or sign him up for the DoSayGive Email List for Guys. These emails go out five times a year (so don’t flood his inbox) and not only have great gift ideas but also tips for beign thoughtful and romantic throughout the year. I am about to send about my first holiday email to the guys with some great ideas so sign him up here (and be sure you tell him so he confirms the subscription!).
