It’s 105 degrees in Dallas so it’s hard to think about fall clothes. But that’s whom the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale benefits most: the savvy shoppers who plan ahead for what they need this fall and winter and save big money by buying now! I’ve already purchased a new coat, jeans, boots, and a fall tote. And today I am showing you an easy transition dress (or top, depending on how you wear it!) plus a few more of my favorite transition pieces from the #NSale.
Shop the Post:
Just to recap: the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is when new fall merchandise is temporarily marked down up to 30 -40% off. When the sale is over on August 8th, prices will return to normal. The sale officially starts on July 22, but if you are a Nordstrom cardholder you can shop the sale now and snag the really good items before they sell out. (If you aren’t a Nordstrom cardholder, you can still sign up. My sister signed up for a Nordstrom debit card this week and was instantly allowed to shop!).
This past weekend I scored this pretty crochet lace trim dress ($59 but will be $89 after the sale). It pairs great with regular jeans or these Hudson ankle jeans ($234 but will be $205 after the sale).
For cooler falls days, I will add a long sweater vest or a moto jacket to this ensemble.
But for now, during these hot summer days, I will wear this as a dress with the sleeves bunched up a bit and cute wedges or, if I am feeling in the fall mood comes the start of school, my new gray booties.
This Sole Society tote I showed on Instagram the other day. First, it looks a lot more expensive that it’s $39.90 price tag and, second, the color goes with just about anything. I will be posting more outfits with this same tote so you can see.
I’ve pulled some more transition pieces from the sale with tips of how to wear both now and this fall. Scroll through the slideshow and click on an image to shop and see the great price:
Don’t miss my full #NSale roundup posts for women, men, and children. I have added a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to the top of my home page outlining my favorites from the sale, including jeans and handbags.
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
