If you saw the video on Facebook and Instagram last night, you know my Holiday Gift Guide is launching November 6th! I have so many wonderful gifts to share with y’all for everyone on your list. And one thing I’m gong to be talking a lot about this holiday season is gifts that give back. Today I’m honored to write about Starfish Project, an organization with a great mission and beautiful (and affordable!) jewelry.
Starfish Project helps women who have escaped sex trafficking and exploitation in Asia by giving them shelter, health care, counseling, and vocational training. The women -many of whom have been expolited by sex traffickers since they were young teenagers – not only make beautiful jewelry but are trained in lifelong career skills like graphic design, photography, and accounting. And the jewelry they make is actually really beautiful!
Look at these Gala white and crystal gold earrings ($36.99):
I love these under $30 pretty turqouise ones, too. (I know my Texas girls love turqouise!)
These would be so cute for a friend or teacher gift.
I have been wearing this gorgeous pendant necklace ($56.99) nonstop lately (and receiving lots of compliments!).
I gave this beautiful, engraved silver cuff to my mother-in-law for her birthday (after I took a photo of it!).
I appreciate when companies with “gifts that give back” also send a card or something that tells a little about the organization’s mission. It just makes the gift so meaningful. Included with each Starfish Project order is a letter from one of the women helped by the organization.
You can learn more about Starfish Project and see their full collection on their website! And they offer gift cards! Thank you to Starfish Project for the beautiful jewelry!
