My hope for DoSayGive is that when you need a good gift idea for someone in your life, you will come here first. You probably know about my SHOP categories at the top of my homepage – I am constantly adding great gift ideas to those lists. But I thought of another idea that will help you throughout the year.
At the beginning of each month I am going to pick my top gifts – for her, for him, for children, and in different price ranges. So you can look ahead to the birthdays and anniversaries you have that month and easily check those off your “to do” list. (Or, if your birthday is coming up, you might get some ideas for your own gift!)
So I know it’s already January 11th, but here are my wonderful gift finds for this month. Next month, I will post at the beginning of the month!
Gifts for Her
Rosanna L’Alphabet Porcelain Tray ($10 + Free Shipping!)
These darling little trays are the prefect little something for your best friend or as a little thank you gift for someone. They are small with a 4″ diameter, but perfect for putting on a dresser or vanity and come in a variety of colors. And you can’t beat $10 with free shipping. Click here.
Pineapple Gleaming Isla Candle ($24-$36)
Pineapples are totally in right now so a great little gift for friends, sisters, teachers, etc. These pineapple candles are welcome reminder of warm days to come! They make a great tabletop accessory but smell lovely as well.

Emily Ley Home Base Binder ($50)
If you’ve been following DoSayGive, you know how much I love Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner (now sold out) but she also has something called a Home Base binder that makes a great gift for a busy mom. It keeps everything in one place like emergency contacts, family calendar, goals for the year. etc. It’s great for getting organized in the new year!
Tory Burch for FitBit Hiding Bracelet ($195)
If you got a FitBit for Christmas, or perhaps your mom or sister did, tell them about this great accessory by Tory Burch It looks so chic and effortlessly hides the FitBit.
If you didn’t get a FitBit (like me!), get one here.
Kelly Wynne handbag
If you don’t about Kelly Wynne handbags, you will soon! She has such chic bags, crossbodys, and clutches. I love her logo and her metallic collection. See them all here.
Gifts For Him
Yeti Rambler Tumbler ($29.95)
If your husband/boyrfiend/dad doesn’t have one of these Tumblers, he needs one (and so do you!). It seems pricey for a coffee mug, but it is so worth it. My sister did a test on hers and it kept her coffee hot for 10 hours! Perfect gift for winter time! (But it also keeps ice cold forever, too!).
You can buy these tumblers at most outdoor specialty stores. Or get the 20 oz. one here (free shipping) and the 30 oz. one here. (They do have on Amazon but they are marked up by third-party sellers.)
The North Face Quarter Zip Fleece (39.90)
These are a great addition to any guys’ wardrobe and on sale right now (reg. $55) with free shipping. This pull-over comes in nine colors!
GoPro Camera Hero 3 ($399)
If he didn’t get a GoPro for Christmas, consider getting him one now. Great for the outdoorsman but also for a special trip he may have coming up.
A friend told me that it seemed on her recent Disney World trip that everyone had a GoPro camera, filming their children seeing the sites and riding rides. I wouldn’t have even thought about that, but what a fun idea! If you don’t want to spend the money on the new model, get the old model for $129.99 here.
Gifts for Children
Ages 1-3: Fisher-Price Little People 50th Anniversary Play ‘N Go ($19.99)
My youngest daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. It reminds of the toy at my grandmother’s house growing up. And it’s also great for taking to friends’ houses or out to dinner because you store the pieces in the school house. Click here to order.
Ages 3-6: Boogie Board ($29.99)
Your child can practice writing, play tic tac toe, or just draw pictures on this liquid crystal tablet. And it all erases with a touch of a button! My five year old loves the one she got for Christmas. It’s so great to take on car trips or for waiting rooms. etc. Note: If you’re child already has a real tablet, then this might not impress. My children don’t have tablets so stuff like this is really exciting.
It comes in several colors, click here to see them all.
Ages 7 and up: Tenzi Game ($13.95)
A great gift for classmates’ birthdays at such a great price. Every family needs games to add to their game collection and this is a great one – even adults love!
Book Recommendations for Children:
As you know, I think books make the best gift for children. So I’ve selected some classics that our family loves.
(Tip: get several of the Billy & Blaze books for a great boy gift!).
What do you think of my list? Would love some suggestions or feedback!
And be sure that you are on my email newsletter so you will get this post each month. (You can sign up on the right sidebar).
