It is the season for showers and parties so I am getting a lot of requests for hostess gift ideas. I always have the latest and greatest things linked in my Gift Idea tab at the top of my blog’s homepage, but thought I would highlight some of my favorite ideas this spring.
1. Turkish Towels!
Turkish towels are so popular because they are lightweight, quick-drying, and soft to the touch. The recipient can use as a beach towel, a cover-up tied around her waist, or even a blanket for snuggling up on the patio on a cool night. Want to add a little something more? Add a sunscreen or a fabulous body oil like this beach one from Bobbi Brown.
You can order the popular Turkish-T brand here (free shipping!) and have a local embroider shop monogram it for an extra special gift. Or a few stores have already monogrammed turkish towels ready to go. Click through below:
2. Personalized Napkins
A great price point, these sets of paper linen hand towels and beverage napkins from The Plaid Pig make fabulous hostess gifts. Who couldn’t use some nice paper towels in their guest bathroom or cute cocktail napkins when friends come over for drinks or dinner?
I love The Plaid Pig’s new exclusive chinoiserie designs (many color options!) but you can also choose from their other cute designs or a classic monogram style. If you want to spend a bit more, try some embroidered linen cocktail napkins:
3. LAFCO Candles
I have written about my love for LAFCO candles before. These large candles just exude luxury (which is nice when gift-giving!). Even better, the hand-blown vessels can be reused in so many different ways (Ideas here). LAFCO’s packaging is so beautiful you could even just tie a ribbon on the box and be ready to go!
For this time of year I like giving the scents and colors of the Sunroom or Pool House. The diffusers are great, too, but $115 and they are big!
4. Barrington Gifts Monogrammed Accessory Case or Baggage Handle Wrap
This is the company that makes the monogrammed totes I often carry. They have so many cute accessories in which you can pick out the color, pattern, and monogram.
A few more ideas include the popular Blue Capri candle scent in a room spray, a lovely coffee table book (more here), and that cute wine tote from Draper James:
I hope these ideas help or at least help spark another good idea! Any of these would make cute bridesmaids’ or thank you gifts as well. Share any of your ideas below!
