I think all of us mothers and grandmothers need to reflect on this especially, “… it was probably realizing that I am the absolute worst offender when things don’t go my way in life and how God is still so gracious to me. That’s helped me see them differently. Helped me have more grace.” I am praying for growing time, for good health for you and the baby, and for happy hearts and good days for all.

Sweet Girl – you are truly amazing! As I read your post, I thought back to when I was a young Mom, and felt like you do about my children, or the image I wanted to portray and believe (you put it much more eloquently and truthfully). It was always difficult for me to give up control, until I sat down to pray during a time of family crisis, realizing that by trying so hard to maintain control, that I was making life more stressful for everyone, especially myself. Now, I am now lots older, hopefully a little wiser, and still have to deal with my “control issues”, but God has taught me through many difficult situations, that I just need to let Him be in charge and that He will provide me with all I need to get through. You are literally going through a nightmare right now, but from what I read, He has given you, and will continue to do so, everything you need to help you through this – your Faith, your family, and your friends!
